Josefine Klougart (b. 1985) history of art and literature at Aarhus University and
subsequently graduated from the Writers' School in Copenhagen. In 2018, she was visiting
professor at the University of Bern.
Since her debut in 2010, Josefine Klougart has published 6 novels and a large number of
essays, chronicles and shorter prose works.
In 2022, she curated an exhibition for Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek and in that connection
published After Nature, a book-length essay about art, literature and nature.
Klougart's books have been translated into 13 languages.
